Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-06. By creating an account or using Event Manager (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Event Manager is a multi-tenant platform for running events: organizers create events and manage agendas, registration, ticketing, networking and sponsors; attendees join events, network, and buy tickets where offered.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
3. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, infringing, harassing, or harmful content or conduct.
- No attempts to breach security, access other tenants’ data, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
- Organizers are responsible for their event content and for complying with laws applicable to their event and attendees.
4. Payments & tickets
Ticket sales are processed by Stripe directly to the organizer’s connected Stripe account — the organizer is the merchant of record and is responsible for fulfilment, taxes, and refunds. Event Manager does not take a cut of ticket sales; the platform is provided to organizations under a separate license/subscription. Refund and cancellation terms for any event are set by that event’s organizer.
5. Content & ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Event Manager and the relevant organizer a limited license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service. We own the Service software and branding.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account & privacy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted, our aggregate liability is limited and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here. Questions: contact the platform operator listed on your invoice or event.
